What we do

AKA PR is an all round communications business. We do consumer and trade press relations, business to business communications, publishing and design, some advertising and also event management.
We have a varied client base – including some highly respected names and trade bodies – but we do have a specific expertise in furniture, furnishings, interior design for the home interest market plus long experience of trade association and generic promotional work. We also work in the retail, online and medical/assistive technologies sectors.
We are truly results focused. We work hard to understand our clients' needs and expectations and to translate that into effective strategies for generating quality press coverage. We have worked extensively with regional press, radio and TV as well as business and national media.
We are pro-active and believe in campaign based PR, devising a programme of activities to convey key messages in addition to on-going news and feature activity.
Our journalistic background means we've got strong, imaginative writing skills and we know how to tell the story or get over the message the client wants to communicate in such a way that the media want to listen (and use it).
Our work with industry bodies has also given us plenty of experience of broader marketing skills - developing retail promotions and point of sale material and consumer leaflets as well as working closely with agencies from other disciplines in advertising and marketing.
We are particularly proud of the long-term relationships we hold with our clients - a sign, we like to think, of our mutual respect and partnership. Jessica's first client is still with us after 17 years.
